About us
Who We Are
We Present Gospel Centered Teaching
These Christians were devoted to learning the Bible |Acts 2:42| and so are we. The Bible says, “The Word of God is living and active…” |Hebrews 4:12 |. Through reading it, praying about it, meditating on it, and memorizing it God powerfully transforms people. Reading and teaching the Bible is a part of everything we do at Village Church.
We Pursue Personal Relationship Building
The Christians discussed in the book of Acts were regularly meeting for meals, prayer, and just to hang out |Acts 2:42 |. They used this time to encourage, teach, and help each other. At Village Church, we encourage people to join one of our Life Groups and also to build deeper relationships with their family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
We Are Passionate About Seeking Our Community
The natural outgrowth of a life transformed by Jesus is seeing others in the community as more important than us. We see these early Christians selflessly giving what they have to those in need |Acts 2:43-44 |. As Jesus transforms our lives we develop a greater desire to help those around us in a variety of ways, including knowing Jesus.
Where We Come From
In 2011, a group of 18 people started meeting in a condo living room praying about starting a new church. Village Church was born from their prayer and God's goodness. Village Church has grown into a beautiful community where people can be real with each other and help one another take their next step with Jesus.
Where We’re Headed
What's the bottom line? More than ever, Village Church is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
What This Means For You
Every person has a next step to take in their relationship with Jesus, and Village Church is dedicated to helping and encouraging people as they take their next step.
But we do this with a mix of grace and truth as we all try to be more like Jesus. The Bible tells us, "grace and truth came through Jesus Christ" (John 1:17b).
Each of us tries to study and live out the truth contained in the Bible while extending grace to one another.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
